Teacher’s day Celebration at P. A. College of Engineering

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and the contribution of our own teachers to the society in general and PA college of Engineering in particular, the institution celebrated the Teachers’s Day on 7th September 2023 at the college Auditorium. The program began with the conduction of various fun-filled events including the spot games for the teaching and non-teaching staff. The formal program began with the invocation by Prof. Muhammed Saifuddeen and welcome address by Prof. Shabeeba. Vice Principal, Dr. Sharmila Kumari explained the significance of the program.
Mr. Abdullah Ibrahim, Managing Trustee-PAET, in his address, appreciated the contribution of the teachers in the glorious growth of the institution. To take the institution further into greater heights, he stressed the need of every stake holder to be visible by taking responsibilities at Institute/Department Level, quantity and quality enhancement in teaching/learning process, contribution towards research/funding, placements, up skilling, organising workshops/conferences, along with the visibility of the institution in the society through the available social network platforms.
Dr. Ramis M K, Principal, P.A College of Engineering, in his presidential address echoed the views of Managing Trustee in showcasing the visibility of the institution and utilize these benefits in acquiring various accreditations such as NAAC, NBA etc. He also highlighted the contribution of the long serving faculties in the institution. The Managing Trustee honoured teaching and non-teaching staff with 10 to 20 years of dedication and service at the institution. The program witnessed the emotional gratitude of the teachers for the recognition by the Managing Trustee and the Late Chairman, Dr.P.A Ibrahim Haji.
The winners in the cultural events were awarded by the Managing Trustee. Prof. John Valder delivered the vote of thanks. Prof. Fathimath Raihana and Prof. Ankitha Bekal compered the program. Prof. Ismail Shaffi, HOD, Physics, Coordinator of Co-scholastic activities, Prof. John Valder and Dr. Asiya Hazreena coordinated the program.
