The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a mini project competition and expo (NIRMAN-23) for the third year students under the banner of ISTE, the CSI Student’s Chapter of PACE, on July 8, 2023. Thirty student batches have exhibited their projects in different areas of Computer Ccience and Engineering, such as Computer graphics, Web Technology and Mobile application development.

Prof. Ganesh Pai, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering-NAMNIT Nitte, Prof. John Veigas, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineerin-AJIT Mangaluru, were the external evaluator for the project competition. 

Based on the evaluation, two best projects were identified from each category:

Computer Graphics: 

1) 3D Simulator by Shaan AR & Muadh Bin Mohammed Ali

2) Working of Blockchain by Rifah Sameen I Sarang & Shabnaaz

Mobile Application Development:

1) Stream-X by Shakeel Ahammed Abdullah, Sheik Rifaz Ali, Summayya, Ayesha Daniya Mulla   

2) Imagixcel (AI image generator App) by Shabnaaz, Rifah Sameen I Sarang, Touheed Ahammed, Muzayyan Hassan

Web Technology: 

1) Medeor (Healthcare Website) by Saaniha Mariyam

2) PACE lab (Web Application) by Rabeeh T A

The external evaluator interacted with all the batches of students throughout their presentation and appreciated them.
