A webinar on ‘The Opportunities for Mechanical Engineers in Aerospace Domain’ under the aegis of the MEA & ISTE
The Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) in collaboration with ISTE PACE Chapter organized a Webinar on ‘The Opportunities for Mechanical Engineers in Aerospace Domain’ on June 7, 2023 at 3pm. Dr. Madeva Nagaral, Manager (Design), Aircraft Research and Design Centre, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore, was the resource person of the session. In his address Dr. Nagaral explained the role of a mechanical engineer in the aerospace domain. He also highlighted the opportunities available for the mechanical engineers in the areas of aircraft research and design. He motivated the students to develop a thorough knowledge in strength of materials, design of machine elements, Finite Element Analysis, failure modes, etc., to find ample opportunities in the areas of aircraft research and design. II and III year mechanical engineering students, teaching and non-teaching members were present in the session. Dr. Abdul Razak coordinated the session. Dr. Maruthi Prashanth B H welcomed the resource person. HoD Dr. Prashanth Pai M introduced the resource person to the gathering and also proposed the vote of thanks. Students and faculty members actively interacted with the resource person.
