Celebration of World Water Day

The Institution of Engineers (I) Students Chapter, Environment Cell and First-year Engineering Students Association (FESA ) of P. A. College of Engineering (PACE), Mangaluru, observed World Water Day - 2023 by organising an invited talk on Save Water - Be The Change You Want To See. The talk was organized on 23rd March, 2023 at Edusat Hall of PACE. The resource person for the event was Dr Palakshappa K., Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering.
Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal, PACE, addressed the gathering. Dr Sharmila Kumari K., Vice Principal, Prof. C V Pujar, in charge of the Environment Cell, Dr. Praveen Suvarna, in charge of the Institution of Engineereers (I), and Prof. Abdul Majeed, HOD of First Year, were all present to grace the occasion.
Dr. Plalaskappa K, the resource person, explained the significance of World Water Day, the use and causes of water scarcity, and suggested everyones and the communitys role and participation in saving water.
Miss Swathi, first-year engineering student, gave a preamble to the programme, and Miss Shaheema welcomed the gathering. Faculty and first-year engineering students have actively participated in the programme.
