Demo on Installation of the “Kitchen Waste Compost System”

Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organized the demonstration and installation of the “Kitchen Waste Compost System” on 15th March, 2023 in Room No. G-28 of the Mechanical Engineering Department.
The resource person, Prof. C V Pujar highlighted how kitchen waste can be converted into compost and demonstrated the installation of the compost unit. In his address Principal, Dr. Ramis M. K. stressed the importance of waste management and suggested the students to create awareness on waste reduction through social connect & responsibility programmes.
Dr. Prashanth Pai M, HOD-Mechanical Engineering and IQAC coordinator welcomed the gathering. The heads of various departments, teaching/non-teaching faculty members and third semester mechanical engineering students were present during the programme. Prof. Chethan K M, In-charge for Social Connect & Responsibility activities, coordinated the programme. Mr. Mohammed Hafeez, III semester mechanical engineering, proposed the vote of thanks.
