WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION AT PACE

The Women Welfare Committee (WWC) in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance cell celebrated ‘Women’s Day on 7th March 2023 at PACE auditorium. In this regard an invited talk on the topic “Solemnize Womenhood” was organized. The resource person was Dr. Preethi Keerthi D’Souza, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce, Mangalore University.
The speaker emphasized on balancing professional life and personal life and about the importance of men and women in each other’s life. She spoke about striking the balance between professional and personal life by giving live examples. The speaker also mentioned to the audience that a women should appreciate the men in her life. The Audience thoroughly enjoyed the session.
Dr. Ramis M K, Principal, PACE in his presidential address elucidated on roles played by a woman in the transition of life. He also appreciated the multitasking ability of working women.
The program commenced with prayer by Ms Hafiya from Biotechnology department. Prof. Shainy Mathew from the Department of Biotechnology welcomed the gathering. The Preamble of the program was given by Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice principal PACE. Prof. Fathimath Raihan from Department of Computer Science introduced the speaker to the audience. The Resource person distributed prizes to the winners of various cultural events. The speaker was felicitated by Mr. Sharfuddin AGM, PAET with a memento. Prof. Asiya Hazareena from the Department of Electronics and Communication proposed the vote of thanks. The Program was compeered by Dr. Chandana B. R.
Dr. Sayyed Ameen Dean-Student Affairs PAET and Director CMSR, Prof. Ismail Shafi Co-Scholastic Coordinator and Prof. Mohammed Hussain HOD ECE and TPO were present at the event.
The afternoon session comprised of impressive performances that showcased the talent of students in various fields.
The program was well coordinated by Prof Asiya Hazareena and Prof. Fathimath Raihan, Prof Iqbal (Physical Director-PAET), and Mr. Haseed (Department of ME) with the support of students and faculty members from the various departments.
