SPRING BOARD SESSION BY INFOSYS

The Department of Training and Placement conducted a program for 3rd semester BE students on 25th Jan., 2023 to demonstrate the Infosys Springboard platform and apprise them on the various Campus Connect interventions for a strong Industry-academia collaboration.
The session was conducted in 2 batches from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm for CSE and AI branch students and 3.00 pm to 4.00 pm for ECE, BT, CV, and ME branches at e-Learning centre. Mrs. Heena, Placement Coordinator introduced the speaker Mrs. Tanuja Guru Prasad Rao a Senior Principal Consultant-Learning (ETA) who has been with Infosys, Mangalore for the last 18 years and Dr. Palakshappa, HOD, and Civil Engineering addressed the gathering.
Resource person took the dice and explained about the various facilities provided by the Infosys for Students and Academic Communities and asked every participant to Register the Infosys Springboard App. Infosys Springboard brings holistic set of free courses, developed in collaboration with world-leading digital educators like Coursera and Harvard Business Publishing. It is fully aligned with India’s National Education Policy 2020.The program helped the students to navigate over the Springboard pages and explore the platform as demonstrated. The following courses were discussed:
1. Management Related Courses.
2. Computer Related Courses.
3. CBSE Syllabus Courses covered right from 1standard to PUC-II Year for Maths, Science
4. Infosys Playground Platform for Setting up and Execution of various Lab based on Iaas, Paas, Saas.
The program was well coordinated by Dr. Abdul Hayan (CIII Cordinator) and departmental faculties.
