Technical talk on Intellectual Property Rights

A Talk on “Intellectual Property Rights” was organized by the Institute Innovation Council (IIC), P. A. College of Engineering, Mangalore in association with the Centre for Excellence of Research and Incubation (CERI), on 6th March, 2023. The workshop was held at E-Learning Centre, within the campus and the event witnessed the participation of more than 200 students.
The program started as per the schedule and Mr. Furqan Shaikh, student of CS, mastered the ceremony. Resource person, Dr.Sayed Abdulhayan delivered the inaugural address, emphasizing the need and scope of this workshop. He also urged all the participants to utilize this opportunity to get aware of Government funding and Schemes for Students.
The following Funding Schemes were discussed in Talk.
• KAPILA Scheme of Patent Filing for Students.
• E-KUMBH Scheme of AICTE to get free softcopy of Textbooks.
• STARTUP Karnataka Scheme for Student Entrepreneurs.
• ELEVATE Scheme for Student Entrepreneurs.
• DESHPANDE STARTUP Scheme for Student Entrepreneurs.
• IDEA-LABS Scheme for Student Entrepreneurs through College.
The session was followed by queries from interested students. The workshop was concluded after getting the feedback for further topics for future workshop session conduction.
