Fresher’s day and Quiz program by Civil department

A fresher’s day and Quiz program was organized jointly by the Civil Engineering Department under the forum FORCE and Institution of Engineers (India) on 26th Nov., 2022.
The event began with a welcome speech by Mr. Shajad Shafi, VII Semester. Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal, PACE, elaborated about the scope of Civil Engineering to build the nation. She also inspired students to take challenges in life with commitment, courage and confidence. Dr. Palakshappa K HOD, Dept. of Civil Engineering emphasized about the significance of department forum activities and encouraged students to utilize the platform effectively for up-skilling their career and developing leadership qualities. Mrs. Shafinas, Admission Officer, PAET briefed about the growth of Civil Engineering field and future of Civil Engineers.
Students of Final year welcomed the fresher’s by presenting Saplings. Ms. Ayshath Sana student VII semester rendered vote of thanks. Ms. Absana, mastered the ceremony. Prof. Chethan K. & Prof. Safa Sana coordinated the program.
As part of the program an interactive quiz program was organized on Civil Engineering Ms. Absana and team conducted the quiz program. Mr. Aboobacker Muzamil, V Semester Civil secured First place and Mr. Mohammad Ashraf III Semester Civil secured Second Place in the quiz competition. All the students actively participated in the program.
