MICROTECH - Workshop on Arduino Development Board was organized by Electronics & Communication department under the banner of Ignited Minds of Electronics (IME) forum, in association with First Year Engineering Students Association (FESA) on 11th Feb., 2023.

The inaugural ceremony was held at 10:00am. Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal and Head of CS department gave the presidential remarks and urged the students to utilize the workshop and implement the ideas received from the workshop by doing the mini projects. Prof. Tenson Jose gave a brief introduction about the workshop and explained the importance of doing mini projects from first year itself. Prof. Abdul Majeed, HOD First year department and Prof. Mohammed Saleem, EC department were present. The inaugural ceremony concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Sunaina Taj.

Ms. Haleemath Bushaira presented the details of Arduino UNO board. The session was followed by hands on session on Arduino UNO. How to use Arduino boards, how to download programs into Arduino board, how to interface Arduino board with various sensors were explained and demonstrated to the students. Few mini projects made using Arduino were also demonstrated.

The workshop was conducted by 3rd semester students of EC department for the 1st semester students of EC department. Prof. Mohammed Saleem, EC department, was the staff coordinator, Mr. Shaheem Rahiman and Ms. Sunaina Taj were the student coordinators.
