Department of Computer Science, P. A. College of Engineering organized an Expert talk on “Beyond Cybersecurity- Behavioural Approaches to Information Assurance” on 05/01/2023. The resource person was Dr. Raghav Rao, AT&T Distinguished Chair in Infrastructure Assurance and Security and Professor, Information Systems and Cyber security, University of Texas at San Antonio, United States. This is very good initiative and exposure to our students regarding Digital transactions/Beyond cyber security/Information Assurance. The students and faculty members from CSE, EC, BT, ME, CIVIL and MBA departments as well as students of P. A. First Grade College actively participated in this session. The resource person was felicitated by Mr. Sharafuddin, AGM, PAET, Mangalore. The program was presided by Dr. Ramis M. K, Principal, P.A. College of Engineering, Mangalore. Dr. B. H. Shekar, Professor, Department of Computer Science, Mangalore University, Dr. Surfraz Hasim, Principal, P.A. First Grade College, Dr. Sayyad Ameen Ahammad, Dean student affairs PAET and Director MBA and Head of the various departments graced the occasion with their presence. 

Dr. Sharmila kumari M, Vice Principal and Head of CSE department was the coordinator of this program and introduced the Resource Person. Prof. Fathimath Raihan from CSE Department welcomed the gathering. Vote of thanks was done by Dr. Palakshappa K, Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering, Dr. Chandana B R, Associate Professor, Department of EC was the Master of ceremony.
