Technical Talk: Era of Sustainable Design & Augment Reality

The Institution of Engineers (India) Students Chapter, FORCE (Fraternity of Rising Civil Engineering) of P. A. College of Engineering, in association with the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India), Mangalore Center, and RAMCO Cement Limited, conducted a technical talk on "Era of Sustainable Design and Augmented Reality " on 19th October, 2022. The resource person was Dr. Raghavendra Holla, Associate Professor, Civil Engineering, MIT, Manipal.
Dr. Palakshappa K, HOD, Civil Engineering, PACE, emphasized about sustainability of natural resources and sustainable design. The resource person, Dr. Raghavendra Holla, highlighted the importance of sustainability in the construction industry in the present era and the need of using the augment reality for sustainable design and construction.
Prof. Safa Sana and Prof. Chetan K coordinated the program. The students of V semester Ms. Mariyam Aleena, introduced the resource person, and Ms. Fathimath Hana rendered the welcome speech and master of ceremony of the session. All the students and staff members of Civil Engineering participated in the programme.
