An Expert Talk was organized by the Department of Training & Placement in association with the Centre for Professional & Organisational Development, under the aegis of ISTE BRANCH on the Topic “Latest Trends and Market Growth in Additive Manufacturing” by Mr. Syed Wajid Pasha, to the teaching and non-teaching faculty members of PACE on 19th Sep 2022 in multipurpose hall at 11.30 AM. 

The Principal Dr. Ramis M K, gave an introductory remark. Prof. Maruthi Prashanth, IST College coordinator, from the Dept. of Mechanical Engineering addressed the resource person. 

 Mr Syed Wajid Pasha, having 15+ years of experience in Mechanical as well as Mechatronics industry presented the session with the explanation and application of 3D Printing. The additive manufacturing/3D printing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital file. The creation of a 3D printed object is achieved using additive processes. He also explained  the working of 3d printers, different types of software’s, the use of 3d printers in rapid manufacturing, and application of 3d printing in Automotive, Aviation, construction, consumer product like eyewear, jewellery, dental and other healthcare sectors. Finally, there were an interaction among the faculty members on the topic discussed. The program was well received Prof. Mohammed Hussain proposed the Vote of Thanks. Heena Kausar P.A from the department of Training and Placement mastered the ceremony.
