Invited Talk on 'NextGen Supply Chain Management'

The Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) and Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) organized an invited talk on ‘NextGen Supply Chain Management’ on 28th May, 2022, in multi-purpose hall. Prof. Mohammed Avvad, Research Scholar, Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT, Calicut, was the resource person for the programme.
The resource person explained the basic concepts of supply chain management (SCM) with suitable examples. He also gave an overview of NextGen supply chain management. He briefed about various research literature available in the area of supply chain management and informed the students to carry out research work by integrating SCM with the latest technology developments such as blockchain, IoT, Artificial Intelligence, etc.
Dr. Prashanth Pai M, HOD, Mechanical Engineering, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal, PACE gave the presidential remarks. The teaching and non-teaching faculty members of the department were present during the occasion. Mr. Muhammed Jamshid Jaleeludeen of VI semester Mechanical Engineering compered the programme. Prof. Maruthi Prashanth B.H, the ISTE coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.
