Centre for Management Studies and Research, P.A College of Engineering, Mangalore, organized an orientation programme for newly admitted students of MBA Batch-2022-24 at the institute premises on 31st Jan., 2022. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the institute and to familiarize the students to campus environment, facilities and infrastructure.

The program started with invoking the blessings of almighty. Prof. Shama welcomed the gathering. Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim, Principal, P. A. First Grade College gave an informative address and motivated the students to follow the culture of reading books rather than depending on social media to gain knowledge. The programme was splendid with the presence of, chief guest, Mr. Shashidhar Pai Maroor, President KCCI, Mangalore, guests of honor  Mr. P.B Ahmed Mudassar, Director KCCI, Mr. Mytreya A. COO, KCCI, Mangalore and presided by Dr. Ramis M.K Principal P. A. College of Engineering Mangalore. Mr. Sharfuddin, AGM, PAET was also present during the function.

Chief guest Mr. Shashidhar Pai Maroor enlightened and blessed the new batch with his word of wisdom. Mr. P.B Ahmed Mudassar in his address stressed the students to take up internship as a part of their studies to have practical experience of work culture in organizations. Dr. Ramis M.K in his presidential address emphasized the role of management education in the overall development of future managers. He also pointed out that students should be equipped with multi-skills, right attitude, desire for learning and positive restlessness for self-improvement.

Prof. Zoheb Ali K, faculty of MBA department expressed the vote of thanks. Final year MBA student Nafisa Tharannum Waheed compeered the event.
