The activities of the Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) for the academic year of 2021-22 have been inaugurated on 10th December 2021 by Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal-PACE. The programme started with the prayer by the MEA Secretary, Mr. Mohammed Vasith of 4thyear Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Prashanth Pai M., HOD, welcomed the gathering after giving a brief introduction of the MEA.  Mr. E. Sunil Kumar, Director, Vedanth MEP Training Institute, Bangalore was the chief guest. The second year students were welcomed to the department during the programme. The Principal gave the presidential remarks in which he advised the students to develop additional skills and knowledge in the upcoming technologies in order to cater the needs of the industry. The chief guest, Mr. E. Sunil Kumar explained the areas of career opportunities available for mechanical engineering students. The faculty coordinators Prof. C. V. Pujar, Prof. Navaneeth I. M., Prof. Maruthi Prashanth, Prof. Chethan K. M. and other teaching and non-teaching faculty members of the department were present during the programme. All the students of mechanical engineering were also present during the occasion. The President of MEA, Mr. Mifthah Jenna of 4th year Mechanical Engineering compered the programme and also introduced the chief guest. Prof. Navaneeth I M, the faculty coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.
