The Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) in collaboration with CFD club and ISTE Chapter organized a talk on “Opportunities in AEC Industry” for the second, third and final year mechanical engineering students on 10th December 2021 in the Multi-purpose hall. Mr. E. Sunil Kumar, Director and Mr. Chaitanya Nanguluri, Associate, Vedanth MEP Training Institute, Bangalore were the resource persons. Dr. Prashanth Pai M., HOD – Mechanical Engineering, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Ramis M. K., Principal-PACE gave the presidential remarks. Dr. Abdul Razak K briefed about CFD Club and various upskilling opportunities available in the area of CFD. Prof. C. V. Pujar, Activity coordinator-ISTE (Mech), briefed about ISTE and its role in personality development of students.The resource personshaveexplained the basic requirements and opportunities for mechanical engineers in the field of Architectural, Engineering and Construction, especially in the Middle East. The areas covered in their talk included HVAC, Fire- fighting, PHE and Electrical Systems. The faculty coordinators Prof. Navaneeth I M, Prof. Maruthi Prashanth, Prof. Chethan K M and other teaching and non-teaching faculty members of the department were present during the occasion.The President of MEA, Mr. Mifthah Jenna of 4th year Mechanical Engineering compered the programme. Prof. Navaneeth I. M., the faculty coordinator, proposed the vote of thanks.
