TEXTUS 2K21: 3 day hands-on training on tissue culture techniques

P. A. College of Engineering, Mangalore in association with Institute of Engineers and Indian Society for Technical Education conducted 3-days workshop on Tissue Culture Techniques from 1st to 3rd December 2021. Dr Ramis M.K, Principal, PACE, Chief guest of the event, inaugurated the Biotek-PACE Forum, and emphasized the importance of biotechnology in the 21st century. Biotechnology, being the research oriented field has high growth rate and tremendous opportunities for collaboration with industry and academics. The resource person Dr. Arunodaya H.S. Assistant Professor highlighted the various tissues culture techniques and its applications. Dr. Krishna Prasad N, Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology, shared his testimony on the importance of team work and dedication to build a better career.
Convener of Biotechnology Forum Prof. Shainy Mathew had outlined the importance of the Biotek-PACE Forum. She pointed that Biotek Pace forum serves a single platform to satisfy the scientific needs of Biotechnology students. Dr. Prashanth Pai, Prof. Mohammed Hussain and Prof. Ismail Shaffi were present during the programme.
Ms.Fathimath Naja welcomed the gathering. Ms. Alfiya introduced the resources person. Ms. Vaishnvi Amrith compeered the programme and Ms. Feena Hakeem proposed the vote of thanks.
