FIRST YEAR INDUCTION PROGRAM INAUGRATION AND INVITED TALK ON SKILLS FOR EMPLOYMENT

Induction Program for first year B. E. students of academic year 2020-21 was inaugurated on 5 May, 2021 in virtual mode. The program was inaugurated by by Dr. Ramis M.K., Principal, P. A. College of Engineering, Mangaluru. The program was also witnessed by Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal, P.A. College of Engineering, Mangaluru, Dr. Ameen, Director, MBA and by various Heads of the Department, PACE, Mangaluru.
After the inaugural, as a part of Induction Program, Department of Basic Science in association with Department of Training and Placement, P. A. College of Engineering conducted an invited talk on the topic SKILLS FOR EMPLOYMENT. The resource person Mohammed Faizal, Business Head, First Focus, Bangalore discussed twelve different parameters lookout from employer perceptive. The program was successful in conveying the employability skills in various domain where students should focus during the four years of Engineering. Nearly 85 first year students attended the program and actively involved in the session.
The gathering was welcomed by Dr. Sareen Sheikh, Department of Chemistry, PACE and resource person was introduced by Prof. Mitra K, Department of Mathematics, PACE. The program was well coordinated by Prof. Ismail Shaffi, Department of Physics, PACE.
