REPORT OF NAIN-IDEATION WORKSHOP : TRANSFORMATION OF IDEAS INTO START-UP

Department of Biotechnology has hosted NAIN-Ideation One day workshop conducted by PACE-NAIN Incubation Centre at P A. College of Engineering Mangaluru on February 12, 2019 in association with Department of IT and BT, Govt. of Karnataka, K-Tech Innovation hub, Bengaluru and PACE group.
Dr. Jithendra Kumar, Managing Director, Bioinnovation Centre Bengaluru, Government of Karnataka Enterprise was the resource person has highlighted the transformation of ideas into business startup.
Students were encouraged to become a job creator rather than job seeker.
Dr. Abdul Sharif, Principal of P. A. College of Engineering, in his presidential address expressed that innovation centre at PACE would lay a platform for all the innovative ideas in the region.
In the concluding remark Vice Principal, Dr. Ramis M.K, emphasized student project should scale up and commercialize immediately.
Prof. Manoj Gadiyar from S.D.M College of Engineering Ujire was present as a representative member NAIN-SDM, Ujire.
Dr. Krishna Prasad N., Regional Co-Coordinator of PACE-NAIN incubation Centre and Head of the Department of Biotechnology welcomed the gathering.
Prof. Fathimath Rehana of EEE department compeered the program and Prof. Jovita Sequira of C. S. Department proposed the vote of thanks.
