The IEEE Student Branch of P A College of Engineering -Mangalore had organized two day workshop on the topic Application Making, which is held on 4TH & 5TH August 2021 at 10:45 AM in offline mode at PACE’s Edusat Hall.

Welcome address K S Asna, IEEE Branch Member, The Guest speaker Dr. Ramis M K, Principal of P.A college of Engineering, Vice Principal Mrs. Sharmila Kumari and HOD of ECE department Mr. Hussain addressed the gathering.

Mr. Mohd Usal, PACE IEEE member, delivered brief explanation about the workshop,. Workshop carried on by Mr. Saad Ahmad Mirani (Secretary of PACE IEEE student branch), in the whole workshop it is discussed and practiced that how to make any sort of android application without using any programming language. Session started with giving explanation about the basic elements of the one of the famous online app creator site MIT app inventor. Many examples taken out to explain its basic functions. Working with buttons, screens, colors, checkbox etc. Also, one app made as an example to check how to pronounciate any word.

On second day we worked on Home Automation. How to make an app to control our home appliances was the main motto. We successfully designed an app for home automation through which any appliance can be controlled using app. This is done by using Arduino, Bluetooth module and relay module. Relay module programmed and successfully one demonstration given.
