The IEEE Student Branch of PA College of Engineering -Mangalore had organized webinar on “USECASES OF AI/ML: A CYBER SECURITY PERSPECTIVE” which is held on 12TH November 2020 at 11 AM.Welcome address by Prof. Mohammad Zakir,IEEE Branch Counselor. Introduction and felicitations of guest by Ms. Mashitha , Student, PA College of Engineering , Dr. Ramis MK,Vice principal of PA College of Engineering- Mangalore gave brief talk on introduction ,ideas and scope of cyber security and gave regards to participants.

Dr. Mohammed misbabuddin presented webinar,delivered the brief introduction and explained the advantage and disadvantage about internet, gave explanation on cyber society , illustrated flow chart of “The internet in India by 2020”, gave explanation on major online Risks and Threats to computers, explained about Cyber crimes, it causes and listed different cases on Cyber security in India ,elucidated about Cyber Crimes cases in India , emphasized about how information processed between sender and receiver without safety protocol , interpreted the authentication in systems, demonstrated how password should maintained using different special characters in order to avoid leakage of password easily , explained about different types of password attacks, gave brief explanation how to get hid of these consequences using AI/ML , illustrated Algorithm of risk engine , gave ideas to prevent brute force attacks, explained different categories of web, how it used and their applications , explained about Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Preventation system (IPS) illustrated difference between IDS and IPS , explained about homographic attack and demonstrated how to identify and prevent these attack on web ,lastly participants asked question to speaker regarding to this topic.
