The department of Electrical and Electronics of PA College of Engineering, Mangalore had organized a webinar on 5 th July 2020 on ‘Effective Lighting Design with Dialux’ for the benefit of engineering graduates and diploma students from the region. The resource person was Mr. Ahishek Bhat, Assistant Manager, Eveready Industries India Limited, Hyderabad. He has delivered a lecture highlighting the lighting design solutions of various end users like houses, multiplexes and street lighting by taking various case studies with the help of Dialux software. He has demonstrated the importance of luminance, illuminance for the ambience of the rooms and various trends in lighting to the participants and emphasized that there is wide scope for the lighting solutions and lighting fixtures as well.
