PACE Mangalore, Department of computer science and Engineering under EMBED CLUB conducted three days’ workshop on Embedded System Design from 16th to 18th of June 2021.  

Workshop was meant for introducing the Embedded System Design for students to understand the fundamentals of microcontrollers and introduce them to different development boards and single board computers available for building an embedded system.

Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Prof. Habeeb ur Rehman and Mohammed Shayiz K.P(7th sem CSE) were the Resource persons for the workshop. Dr Sharmila Kumari introduced students to Advanced Microprocessor and various Microcontrollers and their applications. Prof. Habeeb ur Rehman discussed on custom microcontroller based design, development boards and single board computers he also went through embedded system design process. Mr. Mohammed Shayiz KP conducted hands on session for all three days on Arduino Uno development board using a virtual platform ThinkerCAD. Prof Nishant Narayanan was the Staff Coordinator for the event Mubhashir (6th sem CSE), Mohammed Jauhar and Anisha(4th sem CSE) where the student coordinator for the event. The students from 4th, 6th Sem CSE participated in this workshop.

The Valedictory of the workshop held at 3:30 PM of 19th June 2021, function was presided by our principal Dr. Ramiz M.K. Other dignitaries present on the occasion are, Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal and HOD (CSE) Prof. Habeeb ur Rehman, Prof Mohammed Saifuddin and Prof. Nishant Narayanan.
