Students Webinar Series - 2021

Department of Civil Engineering organized students webinar series - 2021 under the banner of IEI (Institution of Engineers India) and FORCE (Fraternity Of Raising Civil Engineers). The fifth webinar was conducted on July 7. Dr. Palakshappa K., HOD, Civil Engineering stressed on the need of smart buildings in India and how rubber can be used as modern dam construction material. Pooja K, a student from final year Civil Engineering delivered a webinar on functions, advantages and limitations of “Smart Buildings” with relevant examples. Kavana P from final year Civil Engineering presented on suitability, cost-saving and applications of “Rubber Dams”.
Mohammed Raiz and Srijana M R from 8th Sem were the Student Coordinators. Prof. Praveen Suvarna, Assistant Professor was the Staff Coordinator.
All the staff and students had participated in the webinar.
