The ceremony started with Invocation by Prof. Zeeshan Department of Chemistry, followed by Welcome address by Prof.Chandana B R, IEEE Faculty Advisor. The Preamble Note was delivered by Prof. Mohammed Zakir, IEEE Branch counsellor and Introduction of Chief Guest  done  by Prof. Vittal Bhat IEEE Faculty Advisor.

The IEEE Student Branch was inaugurated by Dr Poornalatha G. Senior Association Professor in MIT Manipal & Vice Chair of IEEE Mangalore Subsection. In her inaugural address she congratulated all the faculty and students for opening IEEE student branch and also it was a coincidence that the inauguration was On IEEE day itself. She addressed that the faculty and students should upgrade their technical skills to succeed in the international scenario. IEEE?s mission is to encourage technical advancement and excellence for the good of humanity, operating on the basis of learning, communication, cooperation and advancement. She also called on students and faculty to use the IEEE offerings on IEEE day. Lastly she delivered keynote speech on the topic ?SOCIAL NETWORKS AND STUDENTS ?regarding how to use social media securely and things to be avoided on social networking site.

Guest of Honour Mr. Abdulla Ibrahim Executive Director of PAET Institution appreciated the assured that the college will support and cooperate in the conduct of any program hosted by the Student Branch and wished the branch every success in its efforts.

Head of ECE Prof Mohammed Hussain and Head of EEE Prof John Walder motivated to conduct various activities in student branch.

 Dr Ramis M K Vice Principle of PACE in his  Felicitation Remarks expressed his gratitude to all faculty and students and motivated to make maximum use of all the resources and platforms available. 

Presidential address was delivered by Dr Abdul Sharief Principal of PACE. He expressed his happiness and highlighted the need for an IEEE Student Branch in Higher Education Institutions. Mr Yakshith, Chair IEEE PACE Student Branch outlined the action plan to be pursued for its successful operation.

 Mr. Denzil, IEEE student member proposed the Vote of thanks and Prof Fathimath Rehana Mastered the Ceremony.
