P.A. College of Engineering is Recognized as a Network Institute of IIRS-ISRO Outreach Network

The Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), a constituent unit of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), has recognized P.A. College of Engineering, Mangalore as a member, of its Network of Institutes of IIRS Outreach Programmes, with Dr Zahid Ansari of Department of Computer Science and Engineering as the Coordinator and assisted by Prof. Awwad of Department of Mechanical Engineering. This membership will enable all the UG/PG students and faculty members of the institute to participate in training programs offered by IIRS in the field of Remote Sensing, GIS and GNSS technologies and their applications.

The participant registration can be done online through registration link:

They need to select P.A. College of Engineering as their nodal centre.Training programme can be received through e-class platform of IIRS-ISRO Using internet connectivity.
There are limited seats (Not more than 15 from an institute for a particular course, on first come first served basis)
Benefits
- No course fee under this scheme (Otherwise these courses have fees ranging from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 10,000 )
- Certificate will be awarded based on 70% attendance and online examination/assignment submission.
