Dr. Sharmila Kumari Professor and Head, Department of CSE,   was invited as the resource person for the Four Days Online Faculty Development Program on Image Processing and Data Science was organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Canara Engineering College, Mangaluru, from 26th June to 29th June 2020. She delivered a lecture on ?Role of Descriptors for Computer Vision Applications? on 27th June 2020. Around 250 faculty members from various parts of India were attended the session.
