Report of Webinar conducted by department of Electrical and Electronics

The department of Electrical and Electronics of PA College of Engineering, Mangalore had organized a webinar on 29th June 2020 on the importance of higher education abroad for the benefit of engineering graduates from the region. The resource person was Mr. Sushanth Kini, a PhD scholar from the Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. He has delivered the a lecture highlighting the academic performance, entrance exam of the universities abroad, the financial requirements, selection of the right field for MS, managing accommodation and above all the availability of scholarships for the subcontinent students in European countries. He stressed that unlike American universities, the European universities offer substantially flexible time frame for completion of the MS studies during the interactive session. Prof. Fathimath Raihan compered the program. The department head Prof. John Valder introduced the resource person and delivered welcome and the vote of thanks. Prof. Vittal Bhat M hosted the program.
