An orientation program on "Energy Conservation" with a message to save fuel for the future generation was held on 26th November 2019 for the second year Electrical and Electronics students. The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Abdul Sharief and was moderated by Prof. John Valder and Prof. Nandini S. The efficient use of electricity and the consequences of overuse was demonstrated with the help of LED and INCANDESCENT lamps. A theoretical explanation with the help of energy meter to gain monetary benefits convinced the students the need for the conservation of energy.
