In association with Ramco cements and Association of Consulting Civil Engineers Mangalore centre and Department of Civil Engineering has organised one day construction site visit for V semester students’ (77 students accompanied with 3 faculty members) on 25.09.19 to enhance the practical knowledge of students pertaining to construction of tall buildings. The students visited i) Westline Signature and ii) Marine park at Nanthoor, Mangaluru. Er. Anirudd and Er. Ujwal D Souza were the resource persons at the construction sites. Resource persons took the team of students to various structural components of building and explained about recent construction techniques and practical challenges for civil engineers.
