Glug PACE, Department of Computer Science and Engineering conducted IGNITE 20 which was held at 9:15 A.M on 4th September 2019 to 2nd year students to enlighten them about FOSS (Free and Open Source Software). The function was presided by Dr. Sharmila Kumari, HOD of CSE Department, Other Dignitaries on the dais are Recourse Person Mr. Naveen Mudunur, Secretary FSMK, Dr. Zahid Ansari, Dean Research, Program coordinator Prof. Mohammed Hafeez M K
Resource person for the event was Mr. Naveen Mudunur, who is the Secretary of FSMK. He is working as functional consultant for media and entertainment industry in TECH MAHINDRA, Bangalore.
The event started with a brief introduction to free and open source software by Mr. Naveen Mudunur. He explained about the importance of free and open source software in the current generation. The event was concluded by Launching GLUG website. The event was concluded by Ms. Inaz 5th sem CSE and Ms. Hasna 7th sem CSE was the Master of Ceremony.
