The Department of Mechanical Engineering in association with ASME organized an invited talk on READINESS FOR CORE ENGINEERING COMPANIES by team of Industry Oriented Engineering and Solutions, Mysore.
The program started with a brief Introduction by Prof Avvad. This was followed by a presentation from the resource person on READINESS FOR CORE ENGINEERING COMPANIES. He enlightened the students on various issues such as expectations of engineering industry, factors driving engineering industry, Role of hand calculations, FEM & FEA in modern engineering applications, higher studies in India and abroad etc. After this session the students interacted with the resource person and got clarification on many of their doubts.
The event was organised at EDUSAT hall between 10.30 a.m. - 12.30 pm on 13th Feb 2020. All the 8th semester students and faculty of mechanical engineering department attended the programme.
