P.A. College of Engineering celebrated its 19th Annual Day on 3rd May 2019 at the college auditorium. Mr. Vishnu Shashank B., CEO - ISIRI Technologies and an alumnus of P. A. College of Engineering, was the guest of honour. Mr. Roshan Shetty C.G of VIII- semesterB.E. Biotechnology obtained patents from the Government of Indiafor "ROOTING, SEED GERMINATION AND TISSUE CULTURE MEDIA (RST MEDIA) PREPARATION" and "ARECA NUT FRUIT ROT DISEASE (KOLE ROGA/MAHALI) CONTROLLING POWDER MAKING". Ms Anju B. of VIII- semester B. E. Biotechnology bagged the 10th rank in the VTU examination- 2018. These students along with others who topped in the exams and co-curricular activities were felicitated in the function.
Mr. Vishnu Shashank B. commented that originality should be the students driving force while he was sharing his experiences as a student. Mr Abdulla Ibrahim, the Executive Director of P. A. Educational Trust opined that the energy channelled in the right way would take the students to the top level. Dr. Abdul Sharief, the Principal, presented the annual report for the year 2018-19, in which he highlighted the various achievements, contributions and grants received.
The Annual Day celebrations started with an invocation by Prof. Zeeshan Abdulla, HoD, Dept. of Chemistry. Dr.Surfraz J. Hashim, Director (Academics) welcomed the gathering and Dr. Ramiz M. K., the Vice- Principal, expressed the words of gratitude in the presence of the Principals of the sister institutes, Director MBA, HoDs of various departments of P. A. College of Engineering. Prof. Ismail Shafi, HoD, Dept. of Physics was the program coordinator.
