An invited talk by Mr Sheik Moidin K.M, Manger Operations, Expertise Contracting Company, Saudi Arabia, was held at the institute premises on 12th April, 2019.
The event began with the Welcome Speech by our faculty Prof.Amjad khan. Dr. Abdul Rahiman, HOD, EC Department, introduced the speaker. Dr Ramis M K and Dr Surfaraz Hashim highlighted some point on Disruption technology in present scenario.
The resource person, Mr. Sheik Moidin K.M delivered a technical talk on Digital Disruption in IT World. He has explained the Digital disruption with the help of real time examples to clearly understand the concept. He shared his experience with students about his journey through his career and motivated them to excel in their career. He urged the students to prepare themselves by deploying the projects based on new idea and adopting new technology. He also gave message the student that "The world is open to everyone irrespective of the branches".
The Academic toppers, students with outstanding performance in individual subjects for the academic year 2018-19, winners of mini project exhibition and the student who have won prizes in various inter collegiate competitions were honored.
Dr. Ramis M.K, Vice Principal, Dr. Surfraz Hashim, Director (Academics) and Dr. Palakshappa, HOD, Civil department graced the occasion. Prof. Mohammed Husain, Prof.Mohammed Zakir, Prof. Tenson Jose and Prof. Mohammed Saleem were present. The faculty members and students of the Electronics and Communication department attended the program.
Dr. Abdul Rahiman, HOD, EC Department, presented a memento as the token of respect and appreciation to Mr. Sheik Moidin K.M. Mr. Mohammed Rashad mastered the ceremony. Prof Chandana B R delivered the vote of thanks.
