The department of mechanical engineering felicitated its meritorious students of 3rd, 5th and 7th semester on 10th of April, 2019, at PA College of engineering Mangalore. The Program was organized by Mechanical Engineering Association (MEA) to honour outstanding performers in the University exams. PACE has always believed in commending the students to inspire them to scale greater heights.
The proceedings began with the invocation . This was followed by preamble of the program which was presented by Prof C.V Pujar . A brief report on activities and future plan of actions of various clubs such as Robotics club , Auto club ,Aero club, entrepreneurship club and CFD club was given by Prof Avvad. The Principal, Dr Abdul Sharief presided over the function. In his presidential remarks he expressed pride with the spectacular results. Exhorting the students to carry on with their pursuit of excellence, he congratulated all the meriteous students and in his speech he emphasized the students to be associated with various departmental clubs and engage themselves in productive activities which will build and improve their skills.
This was followed by the much awaited felicitation of the achievers .The results of 2019 have spelt tremendous success for the students of PACE, with the number of meritorious students at an unprecedented high. Dr. Ramis M.K made conclusory remarks, in his address he asserted students the importance time management and effective planning.
Prof Abdul Razzak delivered the vote of thanks.
