Training and Placement Department of P.A College of Engineering, Mangalore organized a Technical talk on "Tech Trends shaping the World today" on 13th November 2018 for the MBA & Engineering students. Mr. Sabarinath Venugopalan, (Managing Partner- Nordic Consumer Industries, Global Client Director, H&M Group, IBM Global Business Services) and one of IBM`s youngest executives in Europe was the resource person. In his talk Mr. Sabari explained new Technology building blocks like Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Automation, IOT, Block Chain, 3D Printing, Voice, Vision, AR & VR etc. The speaker also emphasised on the revolutionary technologies during the past Industrial and illustrated the influence of Artificial intelligence in the present citing few examples on social Medias like Face book, Netflix, YouTube, Google Map etc. He appealed the students to take challenges. He confidently expressed that the Indian`s experience to work in adverse and uncertain situations is one of the biggest asset to take India to further heights.
