"P. A. College of Engineering Joins UGC Chetna Lecture Series: Empowering a Greener Tomorrow through Swachhata Pakhwada"

On September 11, 2024, P.A College of Engineering (PACE) proudly became a part of the UGC Chetna Lecture Series, participating in a special edition titled "Clean Campuses and Cities: Educating for a Greener Tomorrow." The online event featured Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar, UGC Chairman, and Shri P. Narahari, IAS, Secretary, Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
PACE students and faculty participated enthusiastically, including Dr. Krishna Prasad N, HOD BT, Prof. Shainy Mathew C, and Prof. Laila Jaseela A.
The discussion highlighted the significance of Swachhata Pakhwada, student-led initiatives, and collaborations with local authorities to promote cleanliness and sustainability. Prof. Kumar encouraged students to lead by example and participate in cleanliness drives, tree plantation, and waste segregation projects.
The event concluded with a strong message to actively participate in cleanliness and sustainability initiatives, leaving attendees inspired to take concrete actions toward building greener and cleaner campuses and cities.
