The Java Jumpstart workshop was held on 02 and 03 September, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at Computer Centre 2, P. A. College of Engineering. Organized by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the event was coordinated by Prof. Divya K and Prof. Avvanhi from the Dept. of CSE. The resource persons for the workshop were Ahmad Thameem, Abdul Mausooq, Mohammad Thameem Raz, Aakif Mohamed, and Mahammad Shaheer from the CSE Department.

The workshop provided a comprehensive introduction to Java, covering key topics such as data types, operators, user input, conditional statements, loops, arrays, and methods. The sessions were designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and a solid foundation in Java programming.

The workshop concluded with assessments and a quiz to evaluate the participants understanding of the topics covered. Winners of the quiz were honoured, adding a competitive spirit to the learning experience. The entire workshop was smoothly coordinated by Prof. Divya and Prof. Avvanhi, ensuring that all sessions were conducted efficiently and effectively.

The "Java Jumpstart" workshop provided participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to begin programming in Java, setting a solid foundation for further learning and development in the field. Feedback was taken from participants, and a quiz was conducted at the end of the sessions.
