PACE NIRMAN- MINI PROJECT COMPETITION A SHOWCASE OF INNOVATIVE TALENTS

The sixth-semester students of various Engineering streams showcased their innovative projects at the PACE NIRMAN mini-project competition, featuring 52 cutting-edge innovations on 23rd July, 2024. The event was filled with enthusiasm and displayed projects from Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Biotechnology, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, and Mechanical Engineering streams. The panel of judges for PACE NIRMAN were experts in their respective fields:
- Dr. Abdullah Gubbi, Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication, BIT, Mangalore
- Dr. John Prakash Veigas, Associate Professor, Department of Information Science, AJIET, Mangalore
- Dr. Vinayak B Shet, Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology
- Mr. Shameer Ahmed, Managing Director, DataQueue Systems, Mangalore
- Jackson Jebadurai P, Director of CADD Tech Labs Training Services, Mangalore
- Mohammed Sinan, Head of the Department of Computer Science at BIET, Mangalore
- Prof. Sandeep, a faculty member in the Mechanical Engineering at P.A Polytechnic
Their expertise and valuable feedback added to the significance of the event, making it a memorable experience for young minds. The valedictory ceremony was held at 2:00 pm in the e-Learning Center, marking the formal conclusion of the PACE NIRMAN mini project, where the winners of the Pace Nirman mini project competition were rewarded. The Principal Dr. Ramis M.K. emphasized that the event provided a structured platform for students to harness their innovative potential. Vice Principal Dr. Sharmila Kumari extended warm congratulations to all teams for their remarkable achievements.
The valedictory ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. Sharfuddin P.K., AGM Campus, heads of various departments, and teaching and non-teaching staff. The coordinator of the event, Prof. Shabeeba V, delivered a warm welcome address and Prof. Shainy Mathew C. graciously thanked the gathering. Ms. Saniya. P.M. compered the program, keeping the audience engaged throughout.
