The "Introduction to Git" workshop, organized by GLUG PACE, was held from May 28th to June 3rd, 2024, for first-year CSE students. The workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive introduction to Git, a widely used version control system.

The workshop covered the basics of setting up Git, including installation and initial configuration. Participants learned how to configure user information, create a new repository, add files, commit changes, and check the status of a repository. The hands-on session allowed attendees to practice these operations, reinforcing their understanding of Gits project management capabilities.

The workshop was successfully conducted with the help of Abdullah Farseen, Zulfa Mariyam, Fathima Riza, Ashiqa, Nihal, and other members of GLUG PACE. The resource persons, Abdul Kader Suhair Afran, Aboobakker Mazil Tanveer, and Mohammad Hisham Hasan, provided valuable guidance and support throughout the workshop.

The participants appreciated the clear explanations and practical exercises, which helped them grasp the basics of version control. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing interest in more advanced Git workshops in the future.
