Microbit 4 All: Empowering First-Year Students through Embedded Programming by Embed Club and FESA.
The Embed Club, consisting of second and third-year students from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, conducted a week-long program titled "Microbit 4 All" from May 24th to May 28th, 2024. The program aimed to introduce first-year students to the basics of programming microcontrollers. Participants gained foundational programming skills and practical experience with Microbit boards, enhancing their understanding of microcontrollers and bolstering their confidence in handling programming tasks. The initiative also fostered a sense of camaraderie among students with mutual interests in embedded programming. Moving forward, the club intends to offer ongoing support and organize more advanced workshops for participants.
