P. A. College of Engineering, Nadupadavu, has once again demonstrated its prowess in football by clinching the Championship Trophy at the VTU Mangalore Division Inter-Collegiate Football Tournament. This victory marks the third consecutive year that P. A. College of Engineering has secured the title, underscoring their dominance and excellence in collegiate football.

The tournament, which commenced on May 22, 2023, saw participation from seventeen teams across the VTU Mangalore Division. The final match between PACE and Alvas Moodabidri was dominated by PACE players, who scored 3-0, showcasing the skill, strategy, and teamwork that P. A. College of Engineering is renowned for.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Prof. Boja Poojary, Professor, Department of Chemistry-Mangalore University, who served as the chief guest. 

Dr. Ramis M. K., Principa-PACE, expressed his pride in the team’s accomplishment. He highlighted the colleges commitment to promoting sports and the holistic development of students. “This victory reflects our students exceptional coordination, strategic planning, and team spirit. We are immensely proud of their achievement,” he said.

The prize distribution ceremony also witnessed the presence of several dignitaries, including Dr. Sayyad Ameen Ahammad, Dean-Student Affairs (PAET); Dr. Sharmila Kumari, Vice Principal-PACE; Mr. Harris T.D., Purchase Manager; Dr. Iqbal, Director of Physical Education; and Mr. Ibrahim, Football Coach, all of whom played pivotal roles in organizing and supporting the event.

Prof. Mohammed Saleem from the Department of Electronics & Communication, who anchored the prize distribution ceremony, remarked on the high level of sportsmanship and competitive spirit displayed by all participating teams.
