KAUSHA 24 A PROJECT COMPETITION AND EXPO
The Civil Engineering Department organized the final year students’ project competition and expo (Kaushal -24) under the banner of ISTE, IEI Student’s Chapter of PACE, on 03-05-2024. Seven student batches have exhibited their projects in different areas of Civil Engineering, such as Concrete Technology, Environmental Engoneering , Planning, Analysis and Design of structures, Waste Management Practices, Soil stabilization etc.
Dr. Sanjith S Anchan, Assistant Professor, NIE Mysore, was the external evaluator for the project competition. The event was coordinated by Dr Palakshappa K., Professor and Head, and Associate. Prof. Dr. Praveen Suvarna, project coordinator of the Department of Civil Engineering. All the projects were evaluated by the judges. Projet work titled " Vermicomposting by Vermireactor inPACE Campus.” by Rahil Shaffi and team awarded first place, and “To Develop A Nearly Zero Energy Building Using BIM and AR” by Mahamad Asif and team was awarded second place. The winners were awarded with prizes during the valedictory programme. All the students and faculty were present.
