FINAL YEAR MECHANICAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE SEMINAR AT INDIAN COAST GUARD, MANGALORE
Seven students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering participated in the seminar titled “Renewable Energy for Battery Charging on Fishing Boats” on February 28, 2024, at the Headquarters, The Indian Coast Guard, Panambur, Mangalore. The seminar aimed at providing insights into sustainable practices for battery charging on fishing boats, utilizing renewable energy sources. The students participated in the seminar – Adithya P N, Bhavish S Ail, Muhammed Nihal, Muhammed Noufal B, Muhammed Afsal C, Mohammed Ziyan and Mohammed Mazan. Mr. C V Pujar, Associate Professor in Mechanical Engg., coordinated with the coast guard officials in the nomination and participation of the students. The students expressed that the knowledge gained from this event was helpful in understanding eco-friendly practices in marine activities.
