Construction Site Visit by 2nd & 3rd Year Civil Students
The Civil Engineering Department, in association with the Institution of Engineers (India) Students Chapter, has organized a construction site visit for the III and V semester Civil Engineering students under the umbrella of the Professional Body. The III and V semester students visited the P. A. Pharmacy College extension work on February 23, 2024.
The visit was coordinated by Dr. Praveen Suvarna, Associate Professor, Department of Civil Engineering, and was accompanied by Mr. Parameshwara, Er. Abdual Rahiman, and Er. Hamad Shakeer. Er. Hamad Shakeer explained the placement of reinforcement in the slab and beam as per the specifications of the design drawings. Students from the departments actively participated in the visit and clarified their concerns regarding the construction with the faculties and site engineers.
The students conveyed their thanks to Dr. Palakshappa K., Professor and Head, Department of Civil Engineering, Site engineers-Er. Abdul Rahiman, and Er. Hamad Shakeer for their support.
