PACE NSS, joined hands with Institution Innovation Council and Environmental Cell, to organise a one-day camp at P.A. College of Engineering, focusing on organic farming and waste management, on Jan 10, 2023. The event, which was conducted, on account of National Youth Day, witnessed active participation from NSS students of III Semester who passionately took part in morning sessions dedicated to planting saplings and cultivating vegetables around the guesthouse premises.
In the afternoon, Professor C. V. Pujar led an enlightening session on kitchen waste management, introducing the innovative Harmipot technique. This practical demonstration provided valuable insights into effective waste management practices, enhancing the participants understanding of sustainable approaches.
