The Department of mechanical engineering organized an Awareness Programme on Outcome Based Education for the faculty members and students on 7th November 2023 in Lecture Hall G28. Dr. Krishnaprasad N, Professor and Head, Department of Biotechnology, created an awareness on OBE, Teaching-Learning process, vision, mission, COs, POs, PEOs, PSOs, Direct and Indirect Assessment, Feedback system, Accreditation and its benefits, etc. HOD, teaching and non-teaching faculty members and students of mechanical engineering department were present in the awareness programme. The programme was very useful and informative for the participants.

 

PARTICIPATION OF THE STAKEHOLDERS OF THE DEPARTMENT IN OBE AWARENESS PROGRAMME

Stakeholders of the Mechanical Engineering Department (students, parents, faculty, alumni, employers, industry personnel, technical & supporting staff, etc.) participated in the OBE awareness session organized by PACE NEXT- Alumni association and Department of CSE on 8th November 2023, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM via Google meet platform. Prof. Ganesh Pai, Assistant Professor, Department of CSE, NMAMIT, Nitte, was the resource person, who shared valuable insights on OBE including Vision, Mission, Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Program Outcomes (POs), etc.
