On December 11, 2023, the Entrepreneurship & Development Cell at PACE, in collaboration with Institutions Innovation Council successfully hosted the virtual event "Viksit Bharat@2047 Utsav" and arranged the live telecast of the event at 10:15am in Board meeting Room.
The program was initiated by Welcome/Introductory Remarks by Cabinet Secretary followed by Launch of Viksit Bharat @2047 Ideas Portal by Hon’ble PM. During the program, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi articulated the objectives of Viksit Bharat@2047, emphasizing the vision of a developed and empowered India. He underscored the nations commitment to relentless efforts until the dream of a developed India becomes a reality. Recognizing the pivotal juncture in Indias growth, the Prime Minister stressed the need for unwavering dedication, belief in Indias destiny, and strong leadership. Highlighting the urgency of the moment, the Prime Minister emphasized that a transformative agenda, beyond business as usual, is imperative for achieving the goal. He urged for a mission-mode approach to address the monumental tasks required for making India a developed nation by 2047.The vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 encompasses economic growth social progress, environmental sustainability and good governance. The Prime Minister expressed the importance of channelling the innovative ideas of the youth towards nation-building.
The outreach initiative aims to invite the youth to contribute their ideas and efforts to the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. This event is a significant opportunity for lakhs of youth across India to actively participate in the nation’s development.
The event garnered the attention of esteemed attendees including Vice Principal Dr. Sharmila Kumari, TPO Mohammad Hussain K, HoD’s from various departments, and faculties of PACE.
