Awareness Session on Outcome Based Education (OBE) by CS Department

The session on Outcome-Based Education (OBE) organized by the CSE department took place on November 8, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. This event featured Prof. Ganesh Pai, Assistant Professor-NMAMIT, Nitte, as the guest speaker, who shared valuable insights on OBE.
The program was skilfully coordinated by Prof. Habeeb Ur Rehman, who serves as the Alumni Coordinator-PACE, Mangalore. Student coordinator Muadh Bin Mohammed Ali played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the session.
Participants from diverse backgrounds joined the live session via Google Meet https://meet.google.com/cde-hxhr-aem
The audience included CSE alumni, parents, employees, employers, students, industry experts, academic experts, and faculty members. Prof. Mohammed Hafeez M. K. introduced Prof. Ganesh Pai to the audience, setting the stage for the informative session.
During the session, feedback was collected from the participants on various aspects, including the Vision, Mission, Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs), and Program Outcomes (POs). This feedback would be valuable for the departments ongoing efforts to improve the educational experience.
A quiz was also conducted during the session, and it received an enthusiastic response from the participants, further engaging them and enhancing the interactive nature of the event.
